It doesn't come across to me as sour grapes in the article - perhaps Millward just wants to bring in his own man as new coaches often do.

I don't get the impression he really thought he was in with a chance of the Cas job and I think he needs to broaden his experience with other clubs as well as coaches. Can't underestimate the job Andy did for us, the head coach is just that - the figure head you rely on the people around you so there is a big chunk of the praise being lavished on TM that is due to Andy Hay.

Good luck Mr H and thanks for everything, your contribution isn't overlooked.

I hope the people Basil brings in continue to nurture and develop the player pathways that have seen lots of our juniors break through.

Any idea who that might be?

Not sure who his assiatant was a Leigh or if he has a preferred No.2...somehow don't think he will be bringing Jon Sharp with him though.

John Stankevitch - That would be a good appointment for Tigers.
Would he be prepared to move over the pennines though like Basil has said he will be doing ?

For God's sake though!!!, let's not have RHP coming over from Leigh as Millwards assistant. Surely we don't deserve that!

Best of luck to Andy Hay though, I hope he gets a position which allows him to build on his existing experience and perhaps make him a more viable proposition for a SL coaching position in the not too distant future!
