Ambitious plans to turn Castleford Tigers’ ground into a supermarket – which will provide all the cash for the club’s new multi-million pound stadium – have been delayed by up to three months.

I am curious to know why, particularly as it is currently out of the club's hands.

One of 2 things at a guess:
RW was stringing everyone along with an optimistic date for the PP
or
Opus are making it 100% watertight so it will go through no problems at all

Who knows? Maybe RW was given the August date by Opus.

We have had one escape. we need to get our finger out, or else next franchise could be in danger. the last 3 years have flown by, wasnt it 3 years ago that RW had a diggerland excavator on xscape promoting the new ground?
