In the era of mining and when professional rugby league players had to work as well as play(60s/70s/80s), in a castleford player was caught sleeping which was an instant sackable offence however the foreman made an exception in the case of this worker as he was a big cas fan and said he needs his sleep he has a big game at the weekend! Who was this Castleford player caught sleeping in the mine? (a clue the week was a week leading upto a Challenge Cup final at Wembley)

It wasn't a foreman that caught him - it was the Mine Manager.
