A little help please. : Mon Jun 29, 2009 9:12 am
Trying to find a walking route from Cas to wakey for the Watene fund, we have to call in at Cas Panthers on the way over and i've been there loads of times but only from the Whitwood end. so i'm a bit stuck as to how to get there from the Cas town centre side.

What i really need is some sort of walking route/map if anyone can help.

Thanks Alan.

where exactly are you setting off from as there are a couple of options and obviously the more direct route would be better
if its the cas ground there is one option or the bus station theres another let us know and we will sort it out for you,

Never used it Al but have you tried GoogleMaps? Just a suggestion it may be able to sort you a route out.

okay from the Cas ground up Wheldon Road to the roundabout take the second exit (or straight on) onto Aire Street straight on at the traffic lights
till you reach the roundabout take the second exit onto Saville Road
continue tot he end and turn right onto Wood Street follow the road around the bend this then becomes Methley Road
follow the this road for about 0.48 miles
turn right onto Raglan close where the Panthers are

if you need the the directions to Whitwood (which I am sure you probably don't)
turn right back onto Methley Road
contiue until the junction and turn left onto Jin Whin Hill (A639)
follow it up to the roundabout (Whitwood tech) and turn Right and just follow the road

I will try and sort some maps tomorrow unless someone else has a chance before me

hope that sort of makes sense
