its a shame he's resorted to that, he could have commented on 2 great performances and a superb advert for the game, instead it now looks like a case of sour grapes.

The Beeb have slightly exaggerated TM's reaction if you ask me. Tiger TV has a 'proper' live interview with him and the comments he makes there are bob on for my money (as are Brett Ferres'). It's disappointing to keep on hearing about 'dumb footie' I suppose but to be fair that's what it was at times tonight.

We were on the end of a pretty generous penalty count but ATEOTD the Giants brought it on themselves, no matter how defensive Vladimir Brown wants to get about grapple tackles. We just blew too many of the chances on offer, s'all.

you are right you were on the end of a pretty generous penalty count. you had the lions share of possession .they were down a man for ten mins. if hudders had had these advantages, think they would have won by at least 12. matterson should learn to accept defeat graciously, as other good coaches do. he just embarrasses himself. by the way, glad you have got ferres

What more does he want to win a game? A ridiculously one sided penalty count, I've not seen a team been awarded so much territory in a game for a long time. He wants have a hard look at his own team for not been able to make it count rather than the sour grapes.

"I think the penalties in the second half were 6-0 and it should have been 16-0" What a quote from a defeated coach. It's not often you get a 6 nil penalty count in one half of RL, it's just not enough for some people.

Especially when Cas were just as guilty of being offside, holding downand interfereing at the ruck.

It was 8-1, Cas giving away their only penalty in the last minute, overall it was 14-5

Discipline is an area of our game which seems to have improved greatly this year.
