Because some seating is covered and in the grandstand; other seating is uncovered along the side of the field; and where we were last year was uncovered behind the goals. Fortunately it was fantastic weather. I've spoken to a mate who's arrived there this morning and apparently the weather isn't good!

Edit: Some photos here. One of the sides is seating but benches; the grandstand contains proper seats!

And and even better pic here:

Most of us were on the curved seating area behind the posts at the far end last year.

But being a southern softie these days, I've opted for the covered stand along the touchline – or the 'posh bit' as the lass in the Tigers Den described it on Saturday :)

I'll go wherever I end up and then probably not remember it on Sunday morning! Although I don't want that Sunday morning hangover again, ever.

Stade Gilbert Brutus was still being redeveloped in 2006 which is why we didn't play there. If you look at the satellite pic on Google Maps they're still building the grandstand.

I think you're looking at the Aime Giral – the quinzistes' stadium (where the Catalans played in their first year). Google Earth shows Gilbert Brutus with uncovered ends. But last year they were doing building work at the empty end (the near one on Bonzo's pics) – but I think they were building a swimming pool and gym there, not another stand.
