I have no issue with Salford receiving major investment from anybody - in fact I think it's bloody brilliant that a club in our game can be attractive even in such a horrendous state as it was.
My opening post of this raised my point which I have not wavered from - it would worry me if he had selected a CEX and then dumped them after three months.
The obvious concern is that I hope it's not a sign of things to come, and personnel will be constantly reshuffled simply because he has the power over the club to do that.
Though admittedly my choice of title was the thread was distasteful.
I wouoldn't want to see any super league club used as a "plaything" for a man with too much money and not enough respect for a game I love and he knows very little about.
The comments about the salary cap highlighted this disrespect - to walk into a sport and make claims that clubs are cheating, without evidence to back it up, is just not on.
Again I re-iterate, I'd like him to speak less and act more. He doesn't need to make statements about clubs, or Ben Westwood, or that Salford will win the league in 2014...
There's no need to make himself unpopular like that
