slow start in first half cost us the game. outscored them 24-9 in the second half. Not a major disappointment for our first game under Powell.

Heroic fightback by Castleford. Pleased to see the dynamo Justin Carney score two tries.

However I think that Catalans, going from 30-6 at half time to 39-30 at full time, have raised suspicions in my mind that they are not fully fit. Certainly they have proven that they cannot maintain their intensity for 80 minutes. On this performance they will not beat Hull FC in the CC quarter final at Gilbert Brutus in July.

They had 8 players still out, think they run out of steam and players mate

They still won, so they must have done something right.

Its cas who need to play for 80 mins.
No good letting a team score 30 points in the 1st half, then give yourself an up hill battle 2nd half.

As a side note, anyone know why the try in the last few minutes was disallowed.

Dont know, but to score 30 points over there is bloody good

Hygiene. Not like you to e complimentary to CT. Carney went 80 meters didn't he with 1 try?
