What was the point in buying people such as Nash and Grehan who everyone knew would be equally pointless signings, but then loaning them out when I thought we had a shortage of players anyway? I don't get it!!!!!!!

We have many spare weekends coming up due to CC exit. Plus its better than playing in U20s.

It's a good decision

I hope you are right, but will you stand by these words if in 1 or 2 years time these guys still aren't up to the task?

Grehan is OOC at the end of this season, though I note he was given an 8 for his performance for Batley v London in one of the rugby league papers.

As for Nash, he's still got next year to go but he looked alright in pre-season. I think it's just about getting regular game time into him. We never gave James Ford an opportunity either.

you should have a look at rest of the team as not one is up to super league level i would not pay the money cas have for rangi lets face it you cant beat fev and you would not beat batley

I would imagine Nash was signed cos Millward thought he might be able to make the step up to SL in a full time training enviroment. As it turns out I don't think he has and with plenty of better props and 2nd rowers available for selection it seems a sensible move to let him go on loan.

Millward made no secret of the fact that Grehan was signed as a bit of a chance to see if he could make the grade in SL. As a young player who had gone pretty well in the Australian reserve grade it was worth a shot.

There's a 25 year old winger playing in the NRL for the 1st time this season - Andrew Everingham at Souths - who's having a wow of a season but prior to this one had only ever played reserve grade. Goes to show there are some gems if you can find em in the Aussie reserve grade.

SL clubs have signed players on much bigger wages that have turned out to be duds so I'm not gonna lose any sleep over these 2.
