Already asked this on another forum but here goes again and see if I get any answers on here :-

Been to 1st two games ever this season (Bradford & Rhinos) not ever been a rugby fan before despite living in Cas for last 20 years and I normally get my sports fix following Leeds united home and away but due to the prices and costs involved going to see them Ineed a cheaper sport to follow and my youngest son (8) who is rugby mad has talked me into taking him to watch Cas. He now has a season ticket and I wondered if anyone could answer me a couple of questions :-

Do you have to take the full season ticket book to the game for them to tear the match day voucher out or can you just take the voucher out and take that ?

Does it really include free entry to all away games for a £30 season ticket ? And if so again do you have to take the season ticket voucher book or just the voucher ?

If I buy an adult season ticket does that include away games as well ?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm a newbie and as yet don't even understand all the rules etc.

I'd take the full season ticket book with you. Not sure on the tearing it out yourself - the ST book says one thing but the majority of people seem to tear it out prior to going through turnstile.

Junior ST are £36.00 now and do include all home and away games. Again I'd take the book with you.

Adults don't get away games included. I think the Junior tickets is an initiative agreed by all clubs but obviously if they did the same for adults, club wouldn't make any revenue.

Your adult season ticket will only grant you admission to all home league games during the regular season. If you go to away games you will either need to purchase a ticket or pay at the turnstyles at the away ground. My best advice is maybe 1 or 2 weeks in advance, purchase you away ticket through the Cas shop or ticket office. That way a small amount of the price (£1 or £2 approx) goes to Cas.

For your junior ticket, the junior has admission to all home games and away games. For the away games I think that you can either take your junior season ticket book to the Cas shop or ticket office and they will issue a junior away ticket.....or at some/most grounds you can take your junior season ticket book to the away ticket office and they will sort you a junior ticket.

In regards to tearing out the ticket from the season ticket book and taking just the ticket to the game. That is exactly what most people do, however the official 'blurb' is that the turnstyle operator should remove the ticket for you.

I haven't got my ticket in front of me, however if I remember rightly they have the logo of the visiting team on the ticket this year. So make sure that you tear out the correct ticket and not just the 'next' ticket each time.

I'm sure someone will help clarify the exact procedure for kids away tickets etc, however I hope that this helps!

Take the book but tear the relevant ticket out that way it makes it a lot quicker through the gate and, in the event of a query, you have the book available.

Thanks for the help. I still can't believe the child season ticket price having paid around £300 a year for his oldest brother for lufc ST wish I'd tried this rugby lark earlier. Gonna cost me and eldest lad £1200 to renew at footy if we go next season now he his 16 :0(
