I'm with bigalf on this one - I suppose I can understand why the turgid talent shows that seem to have become a national obsession have become the go to source for pre-match entertainment at RL grounds, given that there's bloody loads of 'em and they're cheap, but they are very definitely not for me; we had Danyl Johnson at our place last season - I arrived just before KO instead of my usual half hour or so, to be certain I would miss him.
It can be a good earner for the performer. Diversity got £14,000 when they performed at Belle Vue. Mind you, they put 3,000 on the gate, and even at a kid's rate of £10, it was a good move financially.
