Hardly a clutch of world beaters and some will have deals arranged but not announced for next year but I'm sure there are many players listed below who would consider Cas next year. Personally I wouldn't mind a few of the Manly boys and Matt Utai.

It's difficult becuase a lot of players just don't take to life in the northern hemisphere so a world beater in Aus could easily be a bench warmer in the UK. If you look at Ben Cross for example, down under a GF winner and highly thought of, just couldn't get going at Leeds and the jury is still out for next season. Not having a pop at him, he is huge and his hands are like dinner plates!

In my opinion there is a type of person and a type of player who can adjust and make a big impression. When I think back to '99 (I sound so old!) the success seemed to be no superstar, no marquee names but a gutsy bunch of people who wanted to graft for each other, so the question is do Basil and our team have the management skills to find that man from the list as opposed to a crowd pleasing name that might not own the shirt and contribute to the group.

Think it's a bit out of date.

Tony Williams would be a good signing.

Let's sign Manuoakafoa - we'd make loads off his name on the back of shirts for starters.

Plenty of signings from the NRL are players under contract who their clubs let leave so I've no doubt there are players beyond those mentioned to consider.

That list is quite a bit out of date I think.

You need to target players with a year left on contract and ask for them to be released.
