Ok its taking a bit of a punt here, but am trying to find out what yr my old man played for Cas, it was sometime in the 30's and around the time you went to the challenge cup final in 35 i think that was
Does anyone know of anywhere I could get records of registered players from that era?

Obviously I can always try the club itself, if anybody would know who to talk to it would be appreciated

I've got Len Garbett's book with full playing records for all 1st team players since the club was admitted to the senior competition up to the end of the 1985-86 season.

I'll look him up for you if you PM me his name and I can find the book!

There is a poster on here called stumain if anyone will have the records it will probably be him.

I didn't realise Atkinson and Sampson shared the most appearence record.
Anyone think Huby can beat it?

John Joyner has more with 613 appearances - so no I don't.
