To be honest that's where I see him playing. If there are doubts over his defence then surely he would be better in the middle of the park, where he has cover from other forwards, rather than having one one one situations in the centre. I look at McGoldrick as a good ball handler, which I would preferr at loose forward rather than another battering ram.
