He's good under the high ball and decent positionally which is half the battle won at full back.
He can also put in a decent tackle and has a turn of pace going forward with a bit of strength also.
I think he will cut out the mistakes eventually with experience. At the moment he seems to be charging in but will learn to relax and weigh up the situation a bit better with more time and games under his belt. I'm very excited about some of the young prospects at the club.
I hope it is a sign or things to come and also signals the potential of a South Wales club in Super League.
I think there were a good 3 or 4 players that played last night that should be first team regulars for you lot next year, and I wouldn't be surprised if these were the stand out players for the Crusaders either. Kear & Flower could end up being really top Super League players.
