This is on another well known Tigers messageboard. Probably worth an airing on here too.. Due to the ever increasing financial demands of the club, I am constantly exploring innovative sources of fund raising. One of the most attractive proposals currently under review is the possibility of teaming up with a telecommunications company and delivering ‘Castleford Tigers Mobile’, generating revenue for the club to invest in the 1st team squad. However, the club cannot embark on such a project without your help! So here’s the deal: What if we asked you to switch service providers and join the club’s very own carrier if we could guarantee a quality service at highly competitive rates which would match your current deal at least? By doing so you would be financially contributing towards the club’s needs (through phone usage) at no extra personal cost! Moreover, we would be able to keep you up to date with latest news, scores and club info free of charge You can use your existing number on both Pay as you go and Contract phones If this sounds good to you, please reply to me on craig@castigers.com

If they could set it up and the cost and reception was as good as what i've got now with Vodafone, i'd change just to help the club out.

I'm pretty pessimistic about this whole thing at the moment, really can't see it being any good but I guess we'll see.

Unless they're offering competitive rates and the latest handset for free (on pay monthly) as part of the deal I don't see it being worthwhile.
