I would love Cas to be able to challenge the like of Saints but it is not going to happen overnight, I would much rather continue at the rate of progress we are currently making. We have a fantastic crop of youngsters progressing nicely, a coach who believes in giving youth a chance and are currently financially sound.

In short, we are moving in the right direction although not as fast as some would like.

I have said it before and I'll say it again, Paranoid Android is the shining light of sensibility on this forum, please do not leave, the vast majority of us are in full and complete agreement with you.

Yes but we're talking biggest in "Salford's" history, no disrespect to them, but that could be any figure they care to put forward and who would dispute it?

I can just hear it now "Here we are young Myler, we'll give you £50k a year and that's more than we've ever paid anyone in our history"

I believe he's sure to test the water elsewhere, but if young Brierley is going to be as good as we are told, then maybe no point going for Myler?
