Obviously the size of squad/injuries have enforced such measures upon TM.
However, I can't help that feel certain that had Goldy been at 1 and Chase at 6 we'd have had far too much for Hull yesterday in attack.
These have been our two go to stars this season and we really limited their options by playing them out of position (really missed Chase darting across the pitch from first or second receiver).
As i've alluded on another thread, no.9 is our real weakness this season (Netherton looks nowhere near as fresh - or in shape - as he did at the beginning) - hooker was the only area yest where I felt we failed to match Hull.
