To be quite honest, you can tell (maybe with the exception of Sarge) who the local lads are, they put in the effort every time they pull on a shirt and they give a big lift to the team

Even though cas won the game.. i still don't think that both teams were good enough although ours (wires) and castlefords defence were both really good, i though that both teams players were being quite lazy and looked really tired in the second half.

To be fair, I don't think it's easy to look 'good enough' when you're playing your second game of rugby league in four days.

All games were probably going to be scrappy affairs, which is possibly a reason why so many points were scored on Monday in all games.

I think we showed up excellently, and our defence was superb despite several mitigating factors that could have proved detrimental to our performance in the game.

That set the platform for our attack and we took our chances.
