Makes you wonder who these "many other people" were. Schoey, Bobbie G, Peter "the decorator" Roe & Billy Smart ?

Not convinced this is as bad an appointment as many are making out.

Interesting though that even in a press release to announce the Hull coach is taking over at their club, our neighbours can't resist a dig at us over Joe's "vast improvement" since leaving.

I know I am probably in a minority but I remember Agar when he was coaching York and he made great strides there before going to Hull. Admittedly he has not set the world on fire at Hull but I wouldn't dismiss his ability like most Wakey fans are.

He might do well in adversity at Wakey, (not the crappy Britain's got talent dancers, that was diversity) like he did at York.

I think he will do well for sure, the Hull job has been difficult for years so failing to deliver there is not a complete reflection of ability.

The wakey job is a lot like the cas job; if you fit you do well and if you don't you won't. My money is on him taking to it like a duck to water and doing a great job.
