Faxcar my apologies. Yes it is more than we were prepared to pay."

No need to apologise to me mate and I know you knew what the score was and what it does show is that the club knew about it in advance and will have taken steps to replace him and likewise with the other outgoings to replace at least some of them as well all within budget constraints.

Regarding the budget, up until just last week the game did not know what direction IMG would be going in and many clubs were in a state of paralysis because of the uncertainty on that aspect of the income streams ( I'm not sure they even know now) so if Fax have been doing a bit of business quietly behind the scenes wherever the funding has / is coming from they must have it covered because they are not known for risk taking.

The reality is the defeat hit the club and board hard, they need time to regroup and no doubt all the financial planning adjusted to the lower figures , then the announcement from headquarters about licensing comes in and kicks you again. Who the hell would want to invest time and money into rugby league ?

Yep no doubt losing against York was a financial knock but many of the decisions regarding the bulk of the squad including who would be retained, who were going and who would be replacing some of them would be worked on and taken before that based on a top 4 finish and a quarter final play off.

Missing out on the semis would have been hoped for, maybe even expected but any money coming in from that will likely affect the extra player who might not now be coming.

Where adjustments will need to be made for any contenders for the top flight concerns the criteria of the "A" and "B" categories which will involve a lot more than on field performance, in theory you could finish top of the league and go nowhere or finish half way down and meet the criteria and go up.

It wouldn’t surprise me if there wasn’t a lot of news until after the World Cup in November.

Having looked on companies house deliverees total equity went from £15000 in 2020 to £500,000 in 2021 , they became joint sponsors last year with eclipse energy , then in April this year bought 75000 shares in Halifax plc under the company name cc holdings . That profit growth is quite considerable in a single year , a projection at the same rate of growth would be 16 million in 2022 ( not saying this has happened btw but the food delivery service has become very profitable especially during and after the pandemic) some of what I have typed is obviously speculation but some is facts that can be found online .

I think you are misreading their accounts. The figures you quoted above are in brackets, which means they are negative figures. So their net equity is minus £529k, not positive.

Their current assets are £32k, but they have liabilities of £587k.

I’m no accountant so forgive me , what does total assets minus current liabilities mean ? I can’t see a loan for 500,000 on their accounts .

P.s you are right when a figure is in brackets that’s negative, just googled it , you learn something new everyday , just find it strange if they’re in a negative balance how have they got 75,000 shares in fax .

75,000 shares does not account to pounds £.
It all depends on the cost of each single share at the time you bought them

HRLFC arent on the stock market, so the price of the shares dont go up or down.

There are 377,706 shares held by ten shareholders and as the accounts show, the called up share capital is £377,706 which obviously mean 1 share is worth £1.

The directors may have loaned the business £500k (director loan account).

As for the shares...it looks like there have been 377,706 shares in the company since 2017. CC Holdings appear have acquired their shares from Tony Lee.

Oh, and Tony Lee appeared to have got his shares from Tony Abbot. I know a Tony Lees, who used to work for Tony Abbott so not sure if its the same person, with the s missed off his surname.
