hello IIkley i come in peace i agree with most of your post is there not a couple more options would it not be possible to get grix some more experienced help in like we did when brian noble came in on the short term to help matt calland i no you would have to question what is the point of having a assistant coach that is what sheriffe is for but something is Cleary not right. Also and i no i am probably on to a loser here but what about the club using the squad builder money to sign a new coach it is there for new players but i think we need a new coach more then new players right now

You may be surprised but I agree - Grix is very inexperienced and should benefit from having some experienced support- logically wouldn't be any more expensive than sacking Grix and appointing a new coach - the club gains and hopefully so does Grix.

Rawsthorne was awful yesterday.

The thing is he was much improved from his last game. He has gone backwards, I am just hoping that it is a dip in form and not a downward slide.

From what iv’e seen several have gone backwards or at the very least performed badly and it seems like it’s affecting most of the team, can we think of anyone who had improved?

I think Larroyer is having a strong start along with Salty and Hewitt. Rest are very underwhelming.

Stringer is doing ok too, though I expected a little more from him coming from full time.

Springer and Kev scored against Bradford and hit the line hard yet both were left out completely against Toulouse!!?

Well.... under usual circumstances I would offer to continue this conversation over a pint in the three pigeons on the 30th with a few other fax fans I know. However, that is my Ruby wedding anniversary and in all likelihood I will be otherwise deployed!!

Robin, tell the lass she'll have to wait. On the point of supporters attending games again we've booked a weekend in Newcastle for Fax's game on May 23rd. It never occurred to me that away fans won't be able to attend . Might be a good thing the way were leykin! :x Up The Fax. :DRUNK:

Indeed, team selection is a mystery that only the coach understands. A lad on the bench against Oldham who he obviously didn`t trust enough to bring on!

Did his club say we had to put him in the squad?

Loan system still doesn`t work imho.

If super league won`t run an A team then they should be maximum squads size and have a minimum number of British under 23 year olds in that squad.

Ben Tibbs is our player but still begs the question about why have him on the bench. The only thing I can think of was that the coach also saw this as an easy win and a chance to give Tibbs some game time when we were far enough in front. Other than that it looks an awful decision especially with his continued rotation going on. Standouts for me this year have been Spring and Bourough the rest have really not impressed me at all.

Loan system worked for Oldham. Centre caused us problems.
