If you believe the rumour mill and with RM saying he wanted another pivot he was one who Fax had allegedly spoken to, (along with Sammut and Craven etc.)

No doubt he would have a real positive influence on the pitch but not sure if the bigger bucks needed to sign him would have the same effect with the rest of the team, if that was no problem I’d snap him up.

Ridyard is a class act and would transform our attack. Would be a no brainer for me signing him. Just one stumbling block could be his wage demands.

Worth pushing the boat out a bit for him. He is a great Championship player and would add value to us and give us options.

Proven track record and these guys don't become available too often.

with tangata gone (which as freed up a huge amount of cash makes sense)

No one said why he was let go as he was only speaking to fax or so he said

Maybe that’s where the rumour started and someone misunderstood.

When RM said we were getting Rid when he actually meant we were getting Rid.

By all accounts wasn't keen on Marshall after he asked him to play injured which then ended up with him missing most of this season and only been offered an appearance based contract so must have blamed him for that.

Regards Ridyard we would be off our heads if he were available and we didn't offer him what he is asking. He is the best stand off in the Championship.
