Personally I would be shocked if we get in. We are a small Club surrounded by current SL teams Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield. Our home Fan base is less than 2500. We do not have money like Widnes , Barrow etc do. We are not an Expansion team like Gateshead and Toulouse are seen to be. I doubt the RFL will want us in as we are not part of their "Vision".
I can see Widnes and Toulouse coming in to SL with one of Salford, Wakey and Cas being out. Celtic will be kept in no matter what.

Maybe,

We have and could average over 5000 in SL. We are just as big as Wakey, Salford, Quin, Celtic. We have in the past been bigger than Hudds, HKR and just as big as Warrington.

We have shown in the past that our fan base can grow from under 1000 to averraging 8000. No reason why we cant again.

Who know's what the RFL's vision is? Im sure the club are in a better postition than any on here to have an idea if we have a chance or not - and they are definitly going for it. From what i hear the RFL are more than aware of our potential to be a SL club and the pluses we would bring.

Might as well pack up now then. Whats the point of everyone working so hard when our own fans have given up of any hope. If we don't get 2012 then I think we will struggle for after.

i think if we dont go up into super league in 2012 then will be there in 2015

I remember the days up Thrum Hall when the gates exeeded 10,000 and if you went to Odsal to watch Fax play our fans outnumbered Northerns. They even played tapes of a crowd cause there was no atmosphere there. am i right Fax Ladd 66.

Are we bow locks. We've never had a sustained period of success to get a solid fan base together, even the glory days under the Great Chris Anderson was short lived, it was over before you knew it. Pound for pound we could command the same crowds as Scouse Helens, which are attrocious when you consider their success and team of talents.

And remember when Widnes was a strong team in the late 80s / early 90s, even with a team containing the likes of Offiah and Davies their crowds didn't match the team hence their rapid demise. And FFS don't even dare suggest those midget dwarves are a rugby town, don't make me laugh.

Only if all Red Hall resign and they get some folk in that actually know what they are doing istead of changing the criteria for everything all the time to suite their own agenda.
