Nah, wouldn't want him to be honest. Past it now, as we saw when he played us last year. Plus, the only position he would be playing first choice is Stand Off, and I think that we need to be lucking at classier, younger players for this role to compliment Ben Black.

Agreed...i think he is past it too but maybe he could do a job if the price was right? If we have super dooper league aspirations he might possibly be worth it if he brought young Bowman on.
Would have thought Matt Calland would be building our team to take us up to Super League, if Wobbie is old now he certainly will be too old in 2 yrs time. When you see him play he is just going through the motions really.
We don`t need that type of player at our club wouldn`t have thought. A few years ago we were the "elephants graveyard " of flawed players thankfully those times are behind us.Let him ply his trade elsewhere.

Agreed - thought this when there was mention the other day about signing Gene and Aizue. One of the reasons we didn't resign Graham Holroyd was because we're looking to build for the future, that and he is greedy too!
Wasn't it suggested we may have signed him when he left Huddersfield before he went to Salford?
I'd rather have players in the side who are at their prime (even if they are never going to quite be Super League Players) or youngsters who can go onto better things, than a team full of Old Men looking for one last payday (Like Oldham)

A little like Leigh with Hobson, Nanyn, Maden . . .
