Oldham will Play Fev on June 4th at Leigh Sports Village Live on Sky Sports

http://www.oldham-chronicle.co.uk/news- ... lash-moved

Can't help but think this could be an embaasingly low crowd, Leigh is a good 40 minutes from Oldham at the best of times. And even furthur from Fev than Oldham is.

Still good luck to them, and well done on finding somewhere to host it in the 24 hrs they had.

This presumeably means our game will take place on the Sunday.

its strange that Oldham have to every year look around for somewhere to play as they "do up" the pitch at their home ground, yet we never have to, nor do Widnes, Wire etc.

Wonder if it says something about the respective groundsmen or type of football played on the pitches!?

Oldham managed to get their league scheduel to mean that no games would have to be played away from Boundary Park, the only reason this one has to be is because its a Cup game.

As it stands, its the only game that is to be played away from Boundary Park this season, as opposed to previous yeas when 2 or 3 games have had to be moved due to the pitch work.

& hopefully a decent crowd. Wonder if the clubs will consider reducing the gate to £10 as they did for the Widnes game?

Realistically if they had put us on in this round it was highly likely that they would have to put us on in the semi`s as well. The chances of us missing both Barrow and Widns in the next round, if we get past Leigh, will be slim so that would probably the game they show.
