Both the Pump Room and The Three Pigeons are quality freehouses with a good range of real ales for the discerning toper. To locate either follow signs for the railway station and turn left out of station entrance, both within 1/4 mile on the way to the ground :DRUNK:
If you're feeling ,ore adventurous try The Shears Inn at Paris Gates which is close to the high rise block a the bottom side of the ground

On Friday, come dressed as Private Pyle. Stare menacingly at him whilst giggling like a loon and dribbling spit. Then reach into your pocket....................

You won't even need your MOD card - his foot will be so fast on the turnstile pedal it'll make your head spin.

I spoke to the club about this at the start of the season and my MOD90 is only valid if Season tickets are valid so its a tenner on friday.

With this in mind I have emailed all other championship clubs to enquire if they intend to run a similar offer. So far only Widnes have replied, saying they do not currently run the same incentive but if enquiries were made prior to a fixture, free tickets may be issued.

As has been mentioned previously, I have also had the predictable arguement with the turnstile staff but in true British Army fashion always always educate them in the errors of their ways!!
