Starbug is quite correct so why the criticism ? Cas maintained their crowds, even averaging over 5K in the relegation year - can't think of too many current Championship teams that would match that, can you ? Fax certainly haven't ! so why should they be treated differently from Leigh or Fev or whoever ?
Sanjunien, you need to read more of Starbugs messages when it comes to SL bids, We have no chance this, no chance that, the RFL are mugging you about playing the game etc, Its both tiresome and boring now listening to the same thing on every thread, I am sure the Widnes boys on here will agree as not doubt they have had months of it on their bored.
The criticism is purely down to his obvious bitterness at the licensing system and the need to tell us his same opinion repeatedly for months on our board about how it was a waste of the BOD time. They have worked extremely hard over 3 years getting the stadium built by applying pressure on the council, doing what was needed on the field 2 years on the trot, getting the youth system sorted out, Making profit. Stuff like this http://www.halifaxrlfc.co.uk/article.php?id=4744 giving us fans something to cheer about, Supporting our coach when most of us called for his head. Getting the 2500 average crowd etc etc. Then we have to suffer bouts of deja vouz reading his same old thing.
Now i am actually gonna go home for the weekend and practise my darts for the welsh open on sunday. toodle pipps.

nah,the french are rubbish at darts - probably something to do with the lack of ability to concentrate and practise, not to mention self-discipline to be a top player
the best ever exhibition game I ever saw was with the wonderful Leighton Rees and 'pretty useful' Alan Evans at a holiday camp near Great Yarmouth in the late 70s both passed away prematurely.I'm sure the third player present was Alan Glazier, probably the best left-hander ever to grace the oche ? The Rees action was silky smooth,a bit like watching Michael Holding bowl........
Just heard that the club are hosting an "evening with Brian Carney" in the Harvey's Restaurant. Tickets are priced £50. Price includes 3 course meal and a free lump hammer each. Brian Carney's headgear will be sponsored by Paper Maché UK Ltd.

Not saying it is an easy thing to do , but the only guaranteed way of getting a SL place is via supporters numbers , it is that that has got Widnes back in , nothing else
So if widnes were still playing out of naughton park and had Vaughan we would still be in?
So we have a certificate saying we are super League standard, we won the championship last season yet "No their not, no their not, their not in the running for it"

Sky have no inluence at all over the decision. Look at what they did last time with the gradings etc, didnt mean a thing. Carney doesnt have any knowledge of whats in the bid (just like Starbug ) so what he says again doesnt mean anything. It's just his opinion.

There's absolutely no chance that will happen.
No chance.
NO CHANCE.
