Good things is we play on Thursday and take it out on Doncaster. I think we maybe got in to the comfort zone and went out mentally wrong and doing stupid things. I think MC and his staff will have a fairly easy training week as they do not need to say anything really as the players will know they were poor today. They do not need us neither to bitch and moan. Lets get behind them on Thursday and roar them to victory.
Next week also sees Barrow v Fev which will be very intersting-Go FEV!!!

I think that's the best thing. We don't have to dwell on this for a full week. The players can regroup and show that this one bad performance so far this year isn't the norm.
I'll be there cheering the team on, that's what us fans do.
as for the game. we were out fought in every department. We lost it in the forwards. Eagles have a big pack, so seems strange to go in without Frank.
They dominated in the tackle (with help from the bleached blonde idiot!). Our forwards thought they were ball players at times, rather than making the hard yards. When they did we scored from it.
Miles again was our best player, yes Blacky had a shocker, but will win us more games than he loses.
As for the booing, there was some in the Skircoat, only a bit but still stupid. We even had an idiot behind me shouting for Matt & ther rest to get down from the North Stand to motivate the players from the side of the pitch!!!
The lads tried today, just im sure didnt stick to the game plan.
This will hopefully be the kick up the booty we needed & we go on again from here.
I knew we'd lost it when Penky's 40-20 attempt suddenly drifted away from the touchline then when Woodcock returned it, he was penalised for a semmingly legal tackle.
We were just flat and for the first time in a long time, turned up for a game thinking we could go through the motions and win. Its all fair and well putting in a marvellous performance last week, in the grand scheme of things it means Jack diddley, we needed to perform today to put a gap between ourselves and the rest and we blew it, typical Halifax.
How Miles Greenwood didn't get MOM I've no idea, were the sponsors even watching the game? I feel people are being too harsh on Hemingway, it must have been tough on him after only a couple of training sessions to be thrust into the main playmaker trying to save the game.
We have to raise our game every week now because we are top dogs and teams like Sheffield today will raise their game against us and if we aren't on our game we will get beat like we did today.
Was nice to Gibbo turn back the years with his try and liked his celebration, a bit of a message there, he should still be a Fax player.
Didn't he put Miles in for a try in the second half?
That tackle on Woodcock by Penky was perfectly legal as he got him by both shoulders.
Well done to Sheffield as their defence was outstanding at times, and well done Mr. Leahy for running obstruction for one of the Eagles tries.
Also, I could have grown a beard in the time it took Woodcock to take a goal kick. Pathetic, Mr. Leahy. What's the point in stopping the clock just as he starts his run-up to kick? Surely it should have been stopped whilst he was lining the ball up? I think he's been to the Iestyn Harris of slow motion goal kicking.

Missed his celebration why what did he do?
Who was his message to ? I believe Gibbo was offered a contract but turned it down.
i think its a bit of a cliche to say our style of play and taking risks waqs a factor in our defeat.
on the contrary, I feel we played within ourselves.
i think eagles kicking in the first half won them the game
