Sorry to miss you this afternoon Mick , I went into the 3 Pigeons and Wetherspoons, and met Hudd Shay, I thought Rovers were very poor, not a bad following, Fax had a good first half and played smart rugby in second half , nowt spectacular just basic rugby , but fully deserved to win , hope to see you soon.

A great afternoon and the rain held off. Fax were on another level, organisation was fantastic and KR had no answers. Hope you do yourselves proud in the 8's.

I don't know why but the constant knock on's and penalties have been a lot less in the last 3 games.
Maybe it's having a settled pair in the halves but whatever it is, just shows what a difference it makes when we have some ball retention and good completion rate which combined with a good kicking game takes so much of the pressure off that we were putting ourselves under.

Fax needed and wanted it more today, Rovers competed physically but mentally were just getting this game out of the way.
Good to see a few comments on here and other places giving Fax some support as it's been tough going for a while for us.

Just want to say, that Rob W was great for the team today. I'll admit I've been frustrated with him in the past, but he came inside to help when needed, and contributed to some telling tackles as well. No fumbles and some really strong runs as well. Great stuff!
