It probably says a lot about our performance. Our whole pre-season seemed lacklustre and we seem to be off the pace but when we wanted to turn it on against a solid Leigh team we were able to blow them off the park and put the game to bed in a 20 minute or so spell enough so that we could take two of our main players off. It is hard to get away from the fact that given both teams pre-seasons this was a game that most Fax fans had down as a easy win up until last week. On the plus side for us we have a number of good first teamers to come back in to the team so in that respect we should improve but we will get a much tougher test in a couple of weeks time against Fev who look to have put together a team that should easily be around the top 4 in the league.
I thought you were pretty comfortable in that game. The period in the middle part of the game looked like you’d run away with it and you probably would have done had you not made those changes. Should have been more, especially if you'd taken that second half attacking chance where you were 5 to 1 on McNally and managed to mess up.
If there are any weaknesses I thought it was your right side from kicks and maybe there was a little bit of ill discipline.
