And you did what about this? did you report it, get a picture, phone the police. And can you clarify what you mean bye intimidation? Cos I find it hare to believe you truly felt intimidated by groups of woman!

Here is my slant I reckon your upset because you lost again and thought you would stir the pot! I sat amongst a group of Halifax fans in the family stand who were very gracious in defeat and chatted with us through out, I suggest they would pain a different picture to yourself. The internet is great for making all sorts of claims you can not back up. And to be honest I think its about time this board was moderated as people seem to be able to make totally unsubstantiated claims at will.

We reported it to the stewards. The result was totally irrelevant as I am not talking about the actual game. I am not talking about being intimidated by "a group of women". The way it works is that a woman in a group of men makes an insulting comment hoping to get a reaction, at which point her menfolk have an excuse to leap to her defense (often violently).

Sitting in the stand you are isolated from this as you can only judge by the people in the immediate vicinity. When you stand on the terracing and change ends at half-time you come into contact with far more people. Case in point, there were a group of 3 Fev fans stood in front of us, even though their team were playing the other way. They made comments thoughout the game waiting for a reaction and even changed ends at half-time. These people may be a "minority" but at Featherstone they are an extremely significant minority.

As Chris Dalton said previously, similar reports have come from a number of clubs now so there is definitely a problem. If you choose to ignore it then so be it.

Spanishbob, Fev fans have been a bunch of animals for as long as I can remember. They were a disgrace when they came to our place this season. The older ones amongst us will also remember their obscene chanting through a minutes silence at Thrum Hall following the Sowerby Bridge incident. And I also remember how they reacted when Dave Watson was decapitated by Andy Fisher. Fev fans are only second to Hull in the "RL Thug fans league of shame".

Whether there is an issue or not an attendance of 1337 tells you everything you need to know. People will/have stopped going to fev.

Ok Chris what should they do? what is your plan? take the report on here today did fax machine seek out the police in attendance and insist they dealt with the issue? if not then he is failing to report a crime, its easy to say Fev are not doing anything, but do you honestly think they want these issues? of course not.

It seems easy for other clubs supporters to blow every issue out of proportion or some supporters cos most of the ones i see at games seem to encounter no bother what so ever, and appear to be enjoying things without being on edge.

Don't be absurd. Making comments aimed at getting a reaction is not a crime. It only becomes one after the reaction has become violent. I would prefer not to stick around for this. What I am saying is we were made to feel extremely uneasy throughout the game which is a feeling I have never had before and do not intend to experience again.

So did anyone take offence and wade in and smack you then or is this all hypothesis. have you been to many rugby matches before? cos wise cracks and wind ups is often on the menu from other supporters.

Why did you not insist action was taken? Why not mover a few feet a way from the trouble some 3? why come on here spouting off about a non event? You had the power in your hands to change behaviour, you could have sort out a director, found one of the police officers at the game, asked another steward.... but instead you come on here.

Exactly no crime committed, that's my point your scraping the barrel, Just move if you don't like the comments, its like when your on a double decker bus with a nutter, you move downstairs problem solved?

Ps I did notice one Halifax nutter, carrying on all afternoon swearing and making necessary comments and generally acting a prat and making a nuisance of himself........ Penky
