And you did what about this? did you report it, get a picture, phone the police. And can you clarify what you mean bye intimidation? Cos I find it hare to believe you truly felt intimidated by groups of woman!
Here is my slant I reckon your upset because you lost again and thought you would stir the pot! I sat amongst a group of Halifax fans in the family stand who were very gracious in defeat and chatted with us through out, I suggest they would pain a different picture to yourself. The internet is great for making all sorts of claims you can not back up. And to be honest I think its about time this board was moderated as people seem to be able to make totally unsubstantiated claims at will.

We reported it to the stewards. The result was totally irrelevant as I am not talking about the actual game. I am not talking about being intimidated by "a group of women". The way it works is that a woman in a group of men makes an insulting comment hoping to get a reaction, at which point her menfolk have an excuse to leap to her defense (often violently).
Sitting in the stand you are isolated from this as you can only judge by the people in the immediate vicinity. When you stand on the terracing and change ends at half-time you come into contact with far more people. Case in point, there were a group of 3 Fev fans stood in front of us, even though their team were playing the other way. They made comments thoughout the game waiting for a reaction and even changed ends at half-time. These people may be a "minority" but at Featherstone they are an extremely significant minority.
As Chris Dalton said previously, similar reports have come from a number of clubs now so there is definitely a problem. If you choose to ignore it then so be it.
