DR will fade away because SL clubs can now have a full squad of ready to go
fully players, you can bet your bottom dollar the lads who don't play 1st team due to selection reasons will be playing 2nd grade rugby. This will sharpen up the players and have them match fit, results not an issue player development being the key issue. What will happen probably is the lower tier clubs will have to pay the wages of reserve grade players on loan deals or come to some
* quid pro quo* that will heavily weigh in favour of the SL club.
Yes once it's up and running and the format is settled in SL clubs will sign up players that us championship and league 1 clubs would have just to see how they go in the reserve grade. Everything is going to harder from hereinafter. I But what boils my wee wee more than anything is HALIFAX WAS PART OF THE PARTY.
It's as a tragedy that we as a club and we as supporters can't see the whole picture that the future of anything always rests with youngsters. They we not SL standard yet but I've a feeling this will come back and bite us on our backsides in more ways than and could have dire consequences.
