To own it he was looking to take the club massively in debt.... Pretty simple really. Kept them solvent? One shareholder did more than most and is a great chap, but believe me the others have had their cash back with interest.....

I assume by taking out a commercial mortgage to buy it from the council.

Then lets see the details. Its very hard for fans to speculate on this, I want to be positive about it but there's a lot of examples of clubs getting into bed with the first man to wave money at them, and ending up worse off in the long run. Derek at Leigh, Marwan at Salford, that crazy guy at Barrow a while back (?)...

Faxhali i see you quote keeping the club solvent. I think it is far from that and hard times will be coming soon. Michael Steele is the man who has kept club afloat. The current BOD are not shareholders and have no personal monies in the club but yet they make decisions....confused. I know you don't have to be s shareholder to be a director but why would you want to do that for no recompense. Just saying as it seems to be a question being asked of the so called consortium "whats in it for them". The answer I am not sure but if a collection of business men have good ideas, money, new sponsors and are Fax fans that to me looks a better bet than what we have now. I know from my contacts that money is tight, I also know main sponsorship for next years shirt has gone very cheap in comparison to previous years - pangs of being skint to me. Just saying!!

So you are saying that all the shareholders have taken money they shouldn't have out of the club?

Not sure what your getting at here?? Its pretty simple what I put really.... It certainly doesn't imply what your saying

For your benefit again (the air must be thin in northowram) One shareholder has put considerable funds (more than the others) to keep the club afloat at different times and has never asked for or took a penny back out of the club in return. To me he deserves all the plaudits....

As for certain others they've both taken their "donations" back from the club and with interest. Plus are still wanting more money either allegedly still "owed" to them or to sell their shares....(20k/40k as I understand)

One shareholder constantly paid his way no matter his position for any dining etc, the others certainly DID NOT do the same...

So to me as much as they are often looked upon as good guys, I'm not so sure they "gave" as much as they'd have everyone believe...

So stop trying to insinuate other things from my post, I thought you had a semblance of intelligence.

Hope this clears it up for you.....

Well I must be suffering from the thin air aswell because I also interpreted your post as that.

Why stir this up now and not weeks ago before the cup run? Find it bizarre that the message boards resident scaremonger is the chosen one to break this news, doesn't strike me as the actions of professional businessmen.

Oh for the days of Brooky and Stanley...

Maybe some people hate seeing the positive impact the return of Ian Croad seems to have had in shaking things up, and are just a little bit bitter that they are not welcomed back into the fold in the same way
