To be fair Scott Grix really looks to have kept himself in shape. Not an ounce of fat on him .

Wait till he's 3 month into his part time contract and spends his afternoon's in Scott Murrell's Tesco Costa club....want a hungry young full back who'll be good enough to come to super league with us thev year after

Are we really comparing a full back to a player whos career has been hampered by serious injuries? A fit Simon Grix is still playing top level in SL, the lad has done well to even get back on the field after his last serious injury and that is going to make it a struggle to get his fitness levels to what they were when he struggles to train but even putting in 40 minute shifts for us he is twice the player of any other player we have in our pack. Given that Grix and Murrell pretty much do the coaching themselves it makes sense to have them both on the field as much as we can next season in the hope that they will become our next head coaches.

well the Ben Kavanagh rumour was true good luck and rip it up for your hometown..direct replacement for Adam....ie ooh aah Kavanagh...

Twice the player Brandon Moore is ....NOT . Grix was good but he is becoming increasingly average as his stats will show. ,it was good to have him on the field but the young ones are catching him up on effectiveness.

Good Signing, spent most of his career in super league so certainly the right calibre! Happy with this one.

I dont think anyone will be over the moon with any signing until its either a top drawer fullback or half.

in other news, i was watching the League Express live thing on facebook and Matt Shaws exact words were - 'Halifax have got a few things they're working on that will probably change the perception of them'

the whole conversation was centered around transfers so read in to that as you will

Re Kavanagh he should do a good job for us but I would imagine with his wages and what was saved on Tangata we could have brought in some real star quality as Im pretty sure its not really our pack that is lacking. Still he does improve our pack and we just have to hope that the star signings will follow.

I agree GFB. We need a big exciting signing to get season tickets selling.

I read posts on here regularly. What do people want. We haven't got lots of cash. The team did well last year on a smaller budget than most in top six and still part time.
Recruitment going well and 're signings good.
Stop moaning do you want to be like Leigh or Bradford.
Club going in right direction. Get behind the club.
