he either goes 50 yards or knocks on, too inconsistent for my liking.
Nice to see you agree at last but not so nice to see you have an owl with sunspecs as your avatar rather than that pair of knockers you used to have. BUT ..... what on EARTH is this? Worrincy running 50 yards? When? I've had several "arguments" with me mate (no not jacko) about Worrincy. He thinks he's a workhorse worthy of a place. I think he's crap. Today, he dropped the mother of all howlers in the 1st half, looks so bluddy fragile with the ball in hand (he can't seem to play the bluddy thing right either) and he bluddy INFURIATES ME when he gets the ball and just stands bluddy still, or just walks forward and then grapples with the defenders in a boring "fight" to see how long it is before they pull him to the ground. Don't like bagging individual players, but today I feel really pist off, more than usual, so much so to say Worrincy is our worst signing this season by a country mile.
Dont forget we scored > 30 points in the 2nd half!
Ross Strudwick would have been delighted!
As has already been said, we looked a lot more balanced and threatening side when Govin was put at 6, Penky wears 9 and should ONLY play there.
Charlesworth should be put in on the wing for Worrincy, he looks like he's never played a game of rugby in his life and has no confidence at all which is a great shame.
As usual we only seem to come alive when the game is lost. It would have been a travesty had Gleeson managed to hold on in that last second. Haven really did their homework, played a simple, effective game, the forwards dominiated ours and they peppered Worrincy with kicks all day long and reaped the rewards, they deserved the win.
Sorry to say it, Wise Man, but they deserve a bashing. That's the WORST performance in the first half by a Halifax team I care to remember ... UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES. We were coming off 2 defeats, had to protect top spot in front of our own fans, yet the effort was a total disgrace, so much so that at half time in the bar me and me mate (no, not jacko) thought there were bouncing cheques or serious changing room bust ups. Nothing at all to do about lack of confidence that showing, it was real bad.
We don't have a hope in hell of reaching the GF, never mind winning it, unless the players stop feeling sorry for themselves and bust a bluddy gut. But if they don't want it, then fair enough, they won't get it. Extremely disappointed with the effort, but funnily enough I don't feel shocked by it.
Don't you lie Tony, you know you were with me and my mate Bingo at the time.
Seriously, on this topic and the one about booing I am caught between the 2. I stayed a long time after the game yesterday (at least I am off today, unlucky Bingo) and I can uderstand everyone's frustration. I agree that fans should be allowed to show the team what they think, as long as it is not malicious then that is their view and they have paid their money.
Lets just make sure we are still there supporting them and encouraging them and not go over the top with the booing. They are going to need all the support they can get in the next 4 games !!!
Sxxt or Bust is obviously the best way for fax to play, too much pressure and expectation seems to build up especially at home.Second half when the game was basically over lo and behold,no pressure,no expectation,no more dropped balls no more whitehaven, therefore just go out and play sxxt or bust rugby.

Our pack has gone missing when it matters the most, we bring in a guy whos not good enough for Widnes but goes straight into the team but has shown nothing to suggest why he is keeping his place, guess thats good for team morale.
Are you talking about Beswick or Bannister there??
As the fans from other clubs would expect us to say due their lack of any geographical knowledge....
Calm down.. calm down..
I think there are a few problems there at the club but you have players that have real quality who are lacking in confidence from the sounds of things. You've got a very very winnable game next time out and I think this will be just the tonic for you boys.

A classic Ross Strudwick comment
Totally agree on Worrincy, shocking under any ball, the seagulls will target him all day.
