You could always try this one
Something I suggested should happen with our ' White Elephant '

As much as I enjoy my Sunday fix, it would have been hard to convince most stop-a-wommers that £16 was value for money to sit in the West Stand on Sunday.
They'd want it for a tenner or less which is a non starter because after minimum rent, VAT etc, we would have to double the gate for it to be a success.
Personally I dont think there are 4000 folk in the town who would watch NL rugby week in week out even if it was £8 to get in.
Week in week out we wouldn't get that many if it was free But the East stand holds approximately 3,000 people
Times that by 15 matches gives 45,000 empty seats per season that could be given away free if the correct structure was in place
No point trying to get another 100 here or 50 there , lets try to get every single person between the ages of 4-75 in the borough into the stadium just once per season
The W1g4n and Leigh Community stand at the LSV Community stadium built for the Community of Leigh for the use of the Community of Leigh for the benifit of the Leigh Community sponsored and paid for by the Community Of Leigh via the W1g4n and Leigh council
But do they [ the council ] have the foresight , the vision , the passion , the Community spirit to do it ?
This was added later in the discussion

Does it pay ?
Seriously this is how I see it
Is the stadium a council facility ?
Did the council pay for it ?
If they didn't why are they running it ?
If they are running it , why are they running it and for whose benifit are they running it ?
Once again is it a council facility ?
Are Haigh Hall country park and Pennington Flash country park council facilities ?
Do you have to pay to access them ?
If you dont have to pay to access council facilities then surely the stadium at the LSV should also be able to be accessed freely by the people [ council tax payers ] of the borough ?
They cannot have it both ways
It is either a privately run business for profit [ albeit still council owned although not paid for by the council ] or a council run facility run for the benifit of the council tax payers of the borough ?
The way round this for the council and the LSV management [ council again ] is for the council to sponsor the east stand to the cost of having it open for every match
If they were then to do this they then tell the club and the LSV management that they have an obligation to get as many ' citizens ' of the borough into that stand [ just the once per season ] as possible
A budget to achieve this would also help [ I'm sure we could have a Lesbian , Gay and Transgender grant for one game , racial equality inclusion at another ] and I would guess could be available as every minority group [ and we as Leigh fans are in the minority in the borough ] seem able to get funding these days
I feel a political future could be on the horizon
Anybody fancy standing as a councillor
You know it makes sense , also if you dont ask you dont get
When they say " NO " , you say " Why not " , then let them come up with one ' good ' reason , they would struggle
