Well, Mr Cullen's "self demolition job" at Widnes is happening faster than I thought! Cracks are starting to appear on the Widnes message board, small cracks but cracks nonetheless ....
Maybe, just maybe, one day the stinky fans will wake up and smell the coffee ... that they have employed a totally and utterly inept coach ... the "Alan Shearer" of Rugby League ... yes ..... "You should have stayed on the tellie .. stayed on the telllleeee ... you should have stayed on the telllllleeeeeeeeee ..."
Widnes are getting visibly worse, their results are getting worse, and this "well, he's inherited a bad team" is total bow locks.
Also interesting to see that the team Tony Smith indirectly inherited from Cullen is now significantly more competitive.
Oh yes, soon we'll see Vikingman change his signature
Am I right? I'M NOT WRONG!

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
Don't underestimate the strength of NL1, espanyolswan. There are several "banana skins" in this division with a few very very tricky away trips. I'm not counting our chickens by any stretch, not because I doubt the ability of our great team and coach, but we should be showing the rest of the division (with the exception of Toulouse maybe) the utmost respect. It's a case of how tolerant the Widnes fans will be, following potential "shock" defeats at the likes of Featherstone and Barrow, as to how quickly they fall out with Super League Cullen.
Got to give you a round of applause for this post.Would love people to wake up and make this League the best it can be.When you think the non-Super League clubs far outway thier SuperLeague counterparts but when our reps` leave the RFL meetings we seem to be left with the scraps all the time. The reason is because the RFL have us all chasing the Super League dream all the time. When they all voted for the non relegation bit why did not the non Super League clubs get together and demand our league had a great deal more money put in or another cup to play for.I am not saying I wouldn`t want to be in Super League I would but the ones in the lower leagues should not be looked upon as merely feeder clubs for Soooper Dooooper League.

I was very interested observing "Super League" Cullen's facial expressions during his team's defeat against Leigh ...... as though he was thinking "Christ, what HAVE I done to this team? What can I do now?". Fear, dejection, and resignation was written all over his face. It's also interesting to see how league now have a breakaway 7 at the top, and with only 6 qualifying for the play offs and Widnes having lost most out of the elite 7, it could very much laugh out loud stuff come the end of the season. Their next 2 home games are against free attacking Gateshead (the best attacking team I have seen us play this season) and tricky Fev. A real test of character and nerves for our stinky friends. Yep, I still predict Mr Cullen will NOT be occupying a certain bench at Widnes come September. Am I right? I'm not wrong!
At the Stevo lunch on Friday at the “New Shay” he was asked about if it was right for Terry O'C to comment on Wides on TV. He said that he felt they just took the Sky money but added along the lines of -I don’t really think it is appropriate for a coach to have to come on to Boots and All to comment on the likes of Wigans attacking ability when his own team can’t even get over the game line it puts them in to an invidious position (he actually used the word invidious!!)
