You will always get people that react like that you come across them in life in general so sport is no different. Its disappointing that relations between the 2 clubs couldn't be better and that they couldn't work together for the benefit of both teams. On a side note it as gone very quite since the announcement last friday of the club getting new owners. I am not having a go at anyone but surely when you make a announcement that i class as a fan big news for the club you need to back that up with more info for the fans to get there teeth into or am i being too impatient.
I genuinely believe they were forced to announce it early , last Friday I was talking to the sponsors of joe Keyes and mick gledhill on Twitter around 2ish , they were both saying that a takeover was imminent then another journalist Ian laybourne announced it around 2:30pm , that coupled with rumours on here probably forced their hand and an official announcement at 3pm by us . As previously mentioned our media team are away and believe they will be involved with any promo the club have . I also noticed on fb the other sponsor Deliveree wasn’t happy as he had invested a lot of money and it appeared he wasn’t aware of the takeover and that it wasn’t official yet in legal terms . It also make me wonder why the re - signing announcements dried up and if the potential takeover had any bearing on this . It is frustrating and does lead to speculation but I’m sure things ll be sorted one way or another soon .
