Well we have seen some poor performances, some average performances from Fax this year but that was simply outstanding.
Both defence and attack were at a different level with some of those try’s right out of the top draw.

London performed well enough.
The worst performance by some margin was the man in the middle with an abysmal display.

Absolutely. Grant is one of my favourite referee's but he was terrible tonight. Kept London in the game.

No doubt RM will be basking in the limelight and taking the plaudits. However if Chris_Smith's post is correct and proven to be accurate he should be giving the applause to the guys who do the job, considering his future and giving 'Fax back the wages he has been taking since he stopped coaching the team. Rant over
Great result Fax well done would like to know where I can see the game if it was shown anywhere.

This whole assertion is unfounded. Clearly Marshall is development focused and building something that's sustainable. Anyone that has worked in larger teams knows that delegating and taking on real responsibility for the future is something that has to happen for potential future successors. It definitely doesn't mean that Marshall is abdicating his responsibilities. In regards to fitness and leaky defense this year; what does last nights result stand for then? Losing the conditioner is without doubt significant but there are many freelance nutritionists, PT's, strength and conditioning coaches out there who would do this on short- term contracts or even pro- bono when working with a semi- pro club. Declining defence is not solely about fitness, if anything is about structure.

SingaporeFax, what is your problem, all that has been asked is for Chris_Smith to substantiate his claim, and if correct then, credit should go to the people who have done the job.
Fax have one of the best reserve coaches around in Martin Gonzales, let him do his job and Marshall to do his, if he isn't doing that then he he should consider his position.
It was honest of him (Marshall) to say he had wound his neck in, maybe he has seen a little light and began listening to other peoples views and opinions, as his clearly were not working.
I repeat I have been a supporter of Marshall, if he is not doing his job, or just treading water to see his contract out he has to go.

One victory does not a season make. I'm glad Fax turned up tonight, all I want is the club to do well, simples. IMO RM is not the man to take things forward and I've believed this for several years now. Nothing to substantiate, you either believe it or you don't and either is fine. I'm very close to a number of people involved at Halifax and have been told categorically the training situation is FACT and was there first hand when the emergency meeting was instigated due to a player raising concerns.... RM is not the coach to take us forward for many reasons but the obvious ones are player development and squad development plus his weak man management.... Hes paid a good chunk of money and is afforded too much rope at the club to do as he pleases but that my opinion... I only want Fax to do well and prosper and that for me is not going to happen in the current regime.

Speaking of bookies a double on London -14.5 and Hull KR -18.5 looks to be printing money. Realistically I would have wanted about 24-28 start in our game to even have to think about it and probably at least the same for Leigh.

Never been so happy to be so wrong.

I'm not quite sure where to start with that one. That is probably at least 70 or 80% above anything we have produced this season and with missing so many players as well. Now Marshall has a real problem in that he can't really change that team for Fridays game. So many players who have had questions asked about them stood up to be counted and the younger lads coming in did a great job. Lets hope its the result that kick starts our season.
