JFFC: I know you mentioned the crowd aftet the Fev game, and many agreed with you. Don't know who locked that thread. Maybe it went of topic as this one is threatening to do.

Littlerich: I'm not talking about how our team are doing, and I said as much, as that's the coach's problem. In fact, I'm not discussing the team at all. I think, however, that if you trawled back enough that you would find complaints about certain clubs being given 'allowances' whilst others have had to struggle.

I just want an open, honest game, where the playing field is level and the governing body don't appear to be the scoundrels that they look like. If they had integrity we wouldn't be as critical of them as we are. And, if the crowd trouble isn't sorted soon I'm going to have to consider my options.

Mate, there will never ever be a level playing field, EVER. It's the SL clubs who make those decisions it's all borne out of grees and self preservation. RL will never be fair, I've been involved at various levels in the game for most of my life as you'll know, get used to it or forget about it is my message.

With regards to the idiots who've seen following Halifax RLFC as a vehicle for their anti-social behavioural problems I would reccomend if you still want to follow the club you couls find somewhere else to sit or stand, don't let them spoil your enjoyment. You should have seen some of the trouble back in the '80's when we had a following, I've seen some pitch battles, literally, on the pitch on one occasion at h-t when half the town turned out in the hope of seeing us crowned league champions. Much as Thrum Hall was loved by our fans, there were plenty of crowd trouble on many occasions. I don't condone it, far from it, but I don't really know what the immediate answers are.

The Fev game highlighted a few problems but not just with people who have just started watching or watched puffball and come to watch us.

You had people throwing full pints down the stand or people running after fev supporters embarressing themselves and the club because they can't handle losing, and people throwing bottles because fev scored.. it's these people needing a word!!!

As for RFL changing the rules, the reduction in next years salary cap only highlights that SL is becoming ever more closed.

as is my choice i tend to sit around the half way line at home games and do the same at away games

as i did with my mate last night at widnes- we shout and cheer for fax regardless - we do get some funny looks every now and then and the odd hard stare as at away games we are usually in the thick of away fans, as was last night at widnes

but we very rarley if ever get any or see any trouble - if anything we always have some quite good banter!

i shouted "forward" so loud at one play last night, a widnes fan was half out of his seat shouting forward himself until he relaised it was his team playing the forward pass! lol and patted him on the back and chuckles were exchanged!

That is what Rugby League stood for, sadly it's dying out.

Yes I would be saying the same about RL no matter where we are in the leagues. Its become very much like politics, you say what they want you to say, nobody tells the truth any more, ask Leigh its probably cost tem their chance of ever getting back into SL bu their 'outburst' when the licences were handed out which is a total sham. imo

You do get the feeling that in 2 years time when the applications are on the table [ if we actually manage to win the NRC from C 1 next year ] they [ RFL ] will pick the one up from Leigh , make some witty comment and drop it in the bin without actually opening it
