You've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how ya gonna have a dream come true?

Are you claiming all you are entitled to? www.debtadvicenetwork.org then go to "Self Help" then "Benefits & Entitlements".

Cant see why we have posts that generally slag ex players off. Andy was a good servant to Fax and we all know the rest etc. For him to be subjected to some of the abuse he gets when he comes back is totally wrong in my opinion. There is nothing wrong with a bit of banter but its gone too far now with Hobson. People should lay off.....cant see them saying it to his face somehow.

I totally agree.

I would tell him too his face that he should cut the stupid penalties out as it hurts his team way more than the opponents! he was a good player for us to a degree but then he has for whatever reason gone backwards and not fulfilled the potential he had. Why? Only he can answer that. Why he gives away so many stupid penalties for no reason and tries to be the hardman only Andy can answer that again. I wish him the best, but he has to really sort himself out, as he has earned a bad reputation due to being an idiot at times. Its up to him to change his ways

My point is...by discussing his attitude in a constructive way he would probably listen but these people im refering to would not abuse him to his face like they do on the terrace....so why do it at all!

I agree with the anger comment, as mentioned earlier its probably a fitness thing but in fairness to him i think he left when we got relegated and players have to go where the money is in such a short career.

I found it palying amateur, when the older players can not longer catch the young uns they just start playing dirty

That's a bit of a generalisation to say the least. There's nut-cases playing the game at all ages especially in the amateur game, nothing like it was a few years ago though.

At the end of the day he's still a Halifax lad and I always wish him the best. He was one of my favourite players in his first stint at Fax and even second time around I kept expecting him to reproduce the old form. Maybe its now time to hang up the boots though and move into coaching, because I reckon he has a lot of experience he could pass on to young forwards if he is as nice a bloke as JFFC says. Anybody know if he still lives in the town?
