I thought Widnes looked to have scored an identical one just before half-time but it wasn't given. From my vantage point (behind the sticks) it looked like the ball was on the line. Obviously the Widnes fans were 100 yards away so they couldn't see. I could be wrong but it looked OK to me. Anyone video the match?

I've listened to the game again on Radio Leeds and now I've calmed down a bit I can have a bit of a chuckle at the commentary;

'The drop goal's been kicked, the ref or touch judges don't seem to know if it's gone over so he's given it anyway!'

'Another penalty against Halifax but the ref doesn't seem to be giving any indication as to why they've been given'

Plus, what was that arm signal for Rob's 'double movement try'. It looked like the arm signal for traveling in basketball

I'm not still booing before anybody starts, I thought it was quite funny in hindsight.

i do remember it was awful, but those days are behind us now, we are top of the league and playing the best brand of rugby we have ever played during the 20yrs ive been watching fax.
