could it be that once you meet the on feild criteria(a final) to apply for SL, you will let the squad break up and get an avergae team along with a acadmemy set up to meet the rest of the criteria,

cant see you getting in to SL with out an academy set up

No i dont think so - Our CEO has stated that we are trying to build the squad so we can take most of them into SL if we get there. The plans are in place for the academy and our scholarship programmes is set up as we speak(i think!) that will provide the players.

We want to be the best team for the next 3 years.

That's really interesting because I've not even seen any mention of Ben Black on our forum, let alone any rumours about said moves to Super League clubs...

Not really

Both HKR and Celtic moved up to SL without academies

A much more certain way of getting the 2012 SL place is to deny as many other clubs as possible the qualifying criteria

If you win the next 2 seasons NRC and GF's that would leave only 2 other potential clubs with the qualiifications to even submit an application

If you were to play say Barrow in the final this year and then Fev next year you would be in the box seat
