He's a wendyball fan. Man Utd as well In fact - i don't think he knows the difference between Rugby League and Rugby Union. I might as well have sent the flyer to Gok Wan.
He needn't worry. I'm sure many people would love to poke his eyes out!
Fantastic News, Hopefully Widnes can market this as well and encourage as many to travel as possible, 8pm Kick Off gives travelling fans an extra half an hour, plus its a friday night so not as many people have work the following morning
I dont think 5000 is an unrealistic target for this game, The fact we've beat them once will make the floaters think it should be a good game to get to.
I reckon the gate will be nearer 2,000 than 5,000. Can't see more than 300 or 400 Widnes fans making the trip. Like most people, I couldn't give a stuff about the CC.
When we played Wigan in the CC we got over 6,000 in 2007, but last year we played Hull we got just over 4,000 and in 2006 we played Catalans and got just over 3,000.
In short unless you play a SL team who will bring 2,000-3,000 then the att is going to be the same or less than your average league gate. Good luck on the gate but CC gates are usually a major let down.

That's because the home side "seasonally adjust" the attendance figures in order to make larger charitable donations to the needy. Leeds Rhinos are exceptional charity givers

I don't think your mob brought more than 500 last week anyway, I may be wrong on that though.
At a Quid a Kid that should fetch a fair few youngsters in, and hopefully they can drag their parents along, I'd imagine the community team will be in the schools they visit pushing this for the next week.

You'd think he'd welcome the chance to see a winning team then wouldn't you!?
