I believe it was Waddy Fax who first brought our attention to Chinny when he was scoring all Boothtowns points every season, he went to the Irish and scored a decent amount of their points last year, my worry about him was the fact that he hadn't been picked up by the bigger boys of Calderdale amateur rugby despite being so prolific at what has to be said were the lower echelons of local RL, I know there will have been family ties at the terriers but he probably left it too long to prove himself at a higher level, a big fish in a little pond if you will.
Always felt he needed to bulk up more and would certainly have benefitted from a reserve team this year as he wasn't quite 1st team yet, again possibly because he stayed at the lower levels for too long.
Good luck Chinny but try and pick a quality side in a high division rather than just taking the easy option with the smaller teams.
