Hall and Calland had a considerably larger budget than Marshy to be fair. I do agree with you about his ability to spot a player though. Definitely need a Football Manager or Director in place. Need a marquee signing now to generate some interest seeing as Tangata has gone.

Fair points and apart from generating some interest, as several have posted if we can afford to we need a couple of quality signings to take the next step.

RM and this side have probably gone as far as they can with the current squad of players without that extra bit of class.

There seems to be a few comments around on tweets etc saying there are good things happening both on and off the pitch.

Can these progress on to be even better things?

Craven to be fair was someone who has played with murrell and it actually worked ( unlike Gaz Moore) so I could see the sense in Craven . Even the player himself felt that his style suited fax and was annoyed at being recalled. I remember him having an excellent game away at Fev for us. Particularly uphill which is always difficult for anyone

Another half back with a kicking game and then release Jinky full stop is what you meant. Unless we keep him on as a squad player on a couple of grand a year.
Knowing Marshall - if we do get Craven he will play Craven at full back and keep the current halves
