of course it would have been bedlum! but still no communication upto now to the no 1 priority for the club, it's customers, THE FANS.

I would have expected some statement some time this evening at least. Nothing too detailed just some sort of acknowledgement that the fans exist in all this, thats all!

I would have thought the previously mentioned posters at the turnstiles were a form of communication as well as the good old invention that Mr. Bell gave us.

I came down early as I am on matchday staff duties, saw the signs for the postponement.

My initial concern that entered my head was "How the hell is the game off? Has there been a tragic accident resulting in loss of life with someone connected to the club?" Then my fear turned to anger when I found out the shoddy amateurish truth.

I didn't speak to the "engaged tone", I spoke to a real living person. I was so lucky wasn't I.

What a huge let down, and like everybody else I am angry.
Angry with the club for making what seems to be such a basic error (typical of the amateurish way things are run at Halifax RLFC, ask the sponsors why I say this).
Angry with the RFL for leaving it so late to get the game called off and why was this not picked up straight after the Swinton game by them???

Worried as this will hit the club very hard, loss of a good pay day today and potential pay day in the next round plus money for progressing if we had played and won today. This could affect us big time, players have to be paid for today and we have no income from the match.
Loss of fans and sponsors confidence in the club.
This has made us look a joke and will not put us in a good light with the rest of the RL world and may affect our SL application.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

Maybe we need a new broom to clear out some of the dead wood at the club, trouble is who will come in and replace them??? There is always somebody though, look at Rochdale they were dead but came back, same at Donny.
Whatever happens the club MUST tighten things up and make sure that we are run more professionally, no more slack attitudes. Get TOUGH, show some leadership Board.
If the club needs some help ask us the fans, but be specific with what help you need, we may just be able to help out.

RL is a micky mouse game in reality, look at this weekends TV cup games, one a no contest the other a no crowd!
