We should not get an inferiority complex just because Fev are the best team at the moment, we can beat them and make us the next Widnes - we have to start believing and saying it but only after winning things over the next 3 years to make US the ones the RFL cannot refuse.
A win like Fev's would help!

I don't disagree, i'd go as far as saying it's a cert that Toulouse are in 2015 unless of course the RFL change their minds.

It's a marker this isn't it. Last week Fax fans were in raptures breaking out the fanfare at the catastrophic implosion that was our game v Sheff.
Last night I was willing Leigh over then line and leapt up in the air when your final (and threatening) possession ended in a knock on and the bonus point as denied!

Sheff, Batley, Leigh et al may have something to say about the final outcomes of this season, and until saturday Fev just haven't showed as well as last year - BUT..... you know full well that most Fev/Fax fans regards ach others club as the main threat this season.
I'm sure sheff fans will be happy with that. Pressure off n'all that!

That and the Keighley game have been reality checks for us and the fact is we are still some way behind Fev and I don't think we will finish top this season with the team we have now its going to be Fev again, thats why we were in raptures you lost to Sheffield and got no bonus point as I cannot see you losing many games this season.
For Fax to get to the top we need better half backs!

We were atrocious against Halifax, and cos it was on tv I think that's given a lot of people the impression that we're not serious contenders, but you have to remember that's the only game we've lost in all competitions this season.

For the first time ever I genuinely believe we can push for a top two spot. The Fax game was a blip, just like Fev had a blip against us and Fax had a blip last night. I went to the game last night and was also delighted when Fax failed to score on the last play, simply because it means we can go top again on Sunday!

My mate at uni is a Fax fan, last week you were going the season unbeaten and today you're the worst team in the league. A bit like some of the comments in the 'dross' thread, it's a complete over-reaction. Everyone has bad days at the office, you had one last night. And it's not like you've been battering all comers either; only just snook past Keighley and also London Skolars in the NRC.

Think it will be a really close league at the top, it might well go down to the wire between the three of us to decide the top two places.

After last nights tackling display I cannot see how we can all discount Leigh, slow start against batley but looked a different team last night. Long way to go yet though and I for one am looking forward to a few more ups and downs, but hopefully not too many downs for us.
