Lilley is in the team alongside Craven at half back. Good combination to say the Fev posters say they have no halfbacks! Fax need to be on alert here as Fev haven't lost at home this season and we all know that when Leigh came to the Shay with loads of injuries we still ended up losing!
Once again we need to cut out the penalties and work really hard on finishing off the breaks we do make.
If we nail that then no matter what team Fev put out I think we will sneak it in a thriller.

Lilley nearly made the difference, thankfully not.

Lot of pressure from Fax by sounds of it but solid Fev defence. That's a really good win over there and puts us right back in the mix.

You were very lucky to get that penalty. The mother of dodgy decisions (imho, of course).

Richard Moore summed it up on his way into the dressing room attempting to goad the departing fans by shouting "Where's that ref, I owe him a pint"

That said, great game. Nail biting to the end and a cracking atmosphere.

We'll just have to turn you over at your place.

Chinese whispers are great arnt they? On another site it was our kitman offering to buy the ref a pint.

Hopefully we are turning the corner now. Once again we failed to put a game to bed despite making so many line breaks but once again picking the wrong ball or making an error. On the plus side Fev did not make a clean break outside our own twenty so as long as we kept them at their end they were not going to trouble us too much. We didnt do that and again gave away some silly penalties but as RM said we probably deserved the win overall as we were slightly the better team.

I thought the ref showed a lot of guts giving the penalty did because the video will show Fev could have been penalised on every single tackle of that set.

Special mention on Tangata who was the best forward on the pitch by some distance. Hopefully we can kick on from here and despite not been near the heights we hit last season we just picked up a vital win against a team that will not lose many games at home.

A win's a win. Bear in mind that the decisions of officials tend to balance themselves out over the season. Who'd be an RL ref with all the analysis and slagging off? Ridiculous to say they favour one team.

Anyway a good win. Seems we are getting there, whatever some Bulls and Rovers may say!

Even's things up after a period of time.Still bitter about that Campbell penalty at saints 1993,took 23 years to even that one up.
